Lazy Lady’s Cheesecake with Vanilla Pudding and Sour Cream

Instructions:

  1. Make the crust:
Mix all the dough ingredients together to form a shortcrust pastry. Wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 45–50 minutes.

  2. Prepare the filling:
In a large bowl, mix quark, eggs, and sugar by hand.
Separately, mix vanilla pudding powder, oil, and sour cream, then stir this into the quark mixture.

  3. Assemble the cake:
After the resting time, roll out the dough and press it into a greased 26 cm (10-inch) springform pan, covering the bottom and slightly up the sides.

  4. Pour the quark mixture over the crust (don’t worry if it’s runny—it will firm up while baking).
Gently distribute the mandarin oranges on top.

  5. Bake at 180°C (356°F) for about 50–60 minutes, until the filling is set and lightly golden.

  6. Let the cake cool completely, then prepare the clear glaze according to the package instructions and pour it over the top.

Enjoy your cake!

This “Lazy Lady’s Cheesecake” is easy to prepare, creamy, fruity, and always a crowd-pleaser.
