Preparation:

Tenderize the meat well. Season with salt, pepper, and your favorite spices. Let it marinate.

Slice the onion into rings and tomato into thin rounds.

Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Lay down the onion rings, and place the meat on top of them.

Spread mustard over the meat and layer with tomato slices.

Spread minced garlic over the tomatoes. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Boil potatoes with skins on, then grate them on a medium grater and layer on top of the tomatoes.

Spread sour cream or mayonnaise over the potato layer.

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake for about 40 minutes.

5 minutes before it’s done, sprinkle with grated cheese and return to the oven until melted and golden.
Tip: To prevent the meat from burning, you can cover the baking tray with foil. Remove the foil 10–15 minutes before it’s done to allow the top to brown.
