Italian Apple Cake – The Most Successful Recipe: It Exceeded All Expectations

Baking the apple cake:

Line a round baking tin (22–24 cm in diameter) with parchment paper, grease it with butter, and dust it with flour.

In another bowl, beat the egg yolks with 3 tablespoons of sugar.

Melt the butter, pour half of it into the egg yolk mixture, add the milk and salt, and continue beating until smooth.

Add the flour and baking powder to the mixture and knead until you get a thick batter.

Peel the apples and slice them. Pour the batter into the baking tin and arrange the apple slices on top.

Brush the apples with butter and sprinkle with sugar.

Bake the cake at 180°C (356°F) for 35 to 40 minutes.

The result is a delicious apple tart with a caramelized crust that makes it a real showpiece for any occasion.
