First, crumble the Prinzenrolle cookies in a food processor and mix them with the melted butter.

Pour this mixture into a cake pan lined on the sides as well. Press it down evenly to form the base.

Pour the unsweetened sour cream over the cookie base.

Now, drain the cherries well and spread them over the sour cream.

Prepare the glaze using 0.5 liters of cherry juice according to the instructions on the packet, and pour it over the cherries.
Tip: Be sure to make the cake the day before serving so it has time to set properly.
