Instructions
Step 1: Marinate the Shrimp

In a bowl, mix honey, lime juice, zest, garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and chili flakes.

Add shrimp and toss to coat.

Let marinate for 10 minutes (not longer, or shrimp can turn mushy).
Step 2: Cook the Shrimp

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.

Add shrimp in a single layer.

Cook 1½–2 minutes per side until pink and slightly caramelized.

Remove from heat and set aside.
Step 3: Prepare the Avocado Layer

In a bowl, gently mix avocado, lime juice, salt, and cilantro.

Keep chilled until ready to assemble.
Step 4: Prepare the Rice

Fluff the cooked rice.

Mix with olive oil/butter, salt, and optional lime juice.
Step 5: Assemble the Stack

Use a food ring or small bowl for shaping.

First layer: rice
-
Second layer: avocado
-
Top layer: honey lime shrimp
-
Gently remove mold.

Garnish as desired.
