Homemade Lemon Loaf (Always Turns Out Perfect)

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until combined.
  2. Add the oil, milk, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  3. Gently mix in the flour and baking powder.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased and floured loaf pan.
  5. Bake at 170°C (340°F) for 45–50 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Let cool before removing from the pan.

Optional (Highly Recommended)

Quick Glaze

  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tablespoons lemon juice

Mix together and pour over the cooled loaf.
