Homemade Butter Pecan Ice Cream

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pecans (chopped)
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 ½ cups whole milk
  • ¾ cup brown sugar (or white sugar, but brown adds depth)
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
