Homemade Blender Sponge Cake (Makes Plenty!)

Instructions:

  1. In a blender, combine the eggs, butter, milk, sugar, oil, and vanilla extract.
    Blend for about 3 minutes until smooth. Set aside.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, and baking powder for 1 minute.

  3. Pour the blended mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until fully combined and smooth.

  4. Divide the batter between four greased and floured rectangular pans (14 x 8.5 x 6 cm each — approx. 5.5 x 3.3 x 2.4 inches).

  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  6. While the cakes are still warm, run a spatula around the edges to make unmolding easier.

Result:

A soft, golden sponge cake with a homemade touch — and made almost entirely in your blender!
