Healthy Oat and Apple Pancakes

Step-by-Step Preparation

1. Prepare the apple
Wash the apple, remove the core, and grate it with a grater. You don’t need to peel it.

2. Place in a bowl
Put the grated apple into a medium bowl.

3. Add the egg
Add the egg and mix well with a fork or whisk.

4. Add the oats
Add ½ cup of rolled oats and mix until combined.

5. Add flavor
Add the cinnamon and honey if you want a sweeter taste.

6. Add the baking powder
Add 1 teaspoon of baking powder and mix again.

7. Let the mixture rest
Let the mixture rest for 5 minutes so the oats can absorb the moisture.

8. Cook the pancakes
Heat a nonstick pan with a little oil.
Spoon portions of the mixture into the pan to form small pancakes.

9. Brown them
Cook for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Result

You’ll get soft, nutritious, and very aromatic pancakes, perfect for breakfast or a snack.
