Georgia O’Keeffe’s Pecan Butterballs

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix finely chopped pecans, flour, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Cream butter and powdered sugar in a separate bowl until light and fluffy.
  4. Add vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the butter mixture to form a dough.
  6. Shape the dough into small balls and place them on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake the pecan butterballs for 15-18 minutes until lightly golden.
  8. Let the cookies cool before rolling them in powdered sugar for a sweet finish.
