Instructions:
-
First, mix the flour with baking powder, sugar, and vanilla sugar.
-
In a separate bowl, beat the softened butter with a wooden spoon until it becomes light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, and with each egg, sprinkle in some flour and mix thoroughly.
Once all the eggs and flour are incorporated, the batter will be thick but airy. -
Tip: If the eggs are small and the batter is too stiff, add a splash of milk.
-
Mix the washed and dried raisins with a spoonful of flour and stir them into the batter.
(I used white chocolate instead — just added and mixed it in.) -
Pour the batter into a baking pan greased with butter and dusted with flour.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 60–90 minutes, until fully baked. -
Let cool, then enjoy!
-
Tip: Tastes great with a glass of milk or your favorite cup of tea.
