Fantastic Egg Liqueur from the GDR with 300 ml of Cream

Preparation:

It’s SO easy!
First, put the egg yolks and sugar into a bowl and beat with a hand mixer or whisk until frothy.
Then heat the milk and cream in a saucepan until almost boiling.
Now slowly pour the hot milk and cream mixture into the egg and sugar mixture while stirring constantly.
Next, add the alcohol and mix well.
(Optional: You can also add the seeds from a vanilla pod and stir them in.)

You should then pour the egg liqueur into a clean, dry bottle with a tight seal and store it in the refrigerator.

If you have the luxury of a Thermomix, you can also use it to make the egg liqueur. Here’s how:
Simply add the egg yolks, sugar, milk, vanilla sugar, and alcohol into the mixing bowl and heat at 70°C (158°F) for about 10 minutes at speed 4.

You can serve the warm liqueur immediately or pour it into a clean bottle and refrigerate it.
