Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Cook the ground beef and diced onions in a skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and onions are tender. Drain excess grease.

In a mixing bowl, combine cooked beef and onions with rice, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, beef broth, and seasonings. Mix well.

Pour mixture into the baking dish, cover with foil, and bake for 1 hour until rice is cooked through and casserole is bubbly.

Optional: Top with shredded cheese during the last 10 minutes of baking.

Let the casserole cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs, if desired.
