Easy Peach Cobbler Recipe with Fresh or Canned Peaches

Ingredients

  • 1 (29-ounce) can of sliced peaches in heavy syrup (or 4 cups fresh or thawed frozen peaches)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (plus 1 tbsp for topping)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving (optional)
