Peach Cobbler
Ingredients
Peach Filling
5–6 cups sliced peaches (fresh, frozen, or canned – drained)
½ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup brown sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
Cobbler Topping
1 cup all-purpose flour
¾ cup sugar
1½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
½ cup milk
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional
Vanilla ice cream
Whipped cream
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Prepare peaches
In a bowl, toss peaches with sugars, lemon juice, cornstarch, vanilla, and cinnamon. Spread evenly in a 9×9-inch square baking dish.
3. Make topping
Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
4. Assemble
Pour batter evenly over peaches. Do not stir.
5. Bake
Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, until golden and bubbling.
6. Cool & serve
Rest 10 minutes before serving. Best warm with vanilla ice cream.
Chocolate Cobbler

Batter
1 cup all-purpose flour
¾ cup granulated sugar
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup chocolate chips
¼ tsp salt
½ cup milk
⅓ cup melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
Chocolate Topping
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Hot Liquid
1½ cups hot water (or hot coffee for deeper flavor)
Optional
Vanilla ice cream
Whipped cream
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Make batter
In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
3. Assemble
Spread batter evenly into a 9×9-inch square baking dish (do not grease).
4. Add topping
In a separate bowl, mix granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cocoa powder. Sprinkle evenly over the batter.
5. Add hot liquid
Carefully pour hot water (or coffee) over the top. Do not stir.
6. Bake
Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, until set on top and saucy underneath.
7. Serve
Let rest 10 minutes. Scoop and serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
