Easy Cheese Danishes

Directions:



1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Unfold the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface and cut it into 4 equal squares.
3. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
4. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square.
5. Fold the corners of each square towards the center over the cream cheese filling, pinching the edges gently to seal.
6. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg yolk and milk.
7. Brush the egg wash over the tops of the danishes for a golden finish.
8. Place the danishes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
9. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until puffed and golden brown
