Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a large bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, heavy cream, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt.

Whisk everything together until smooth and well blended.

Add the sugar (if using) and mix well.

Pour the mixture into individual flan molds or a bundt pan.

Place the molds in a baking dish and add hot water to the dish until it reaches halfway up the sides of the molds (this is a water bath or baño maría).

Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the flan is set and lightly golden.

Let the flan cool completely before unmolding and serving.
Tips:

Make sure the molds are filled evenly to avoid bubbles forming.

Don’t overbake the flan, as it can become dry.

You can add ingredients like shredded coconut or chopped nuts to give it a unique twist.
