  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 4 large egg yolks

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups sweetened shredded coconut

For the Crust

  • 1 fully baked 9-inch pie shell (homemade or store-bought)

Optional Topping

  • 1½ cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Toasted coconut flakes for garnish
