🥄 INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Boil the Water:
Bring 1 cup of filtered water to a boil in a small saucepan or kettle. Use fresh water for optimal taste and clarity.
2. Add the Cloves:
Place whole cloves into a heatproof glass or mug. Pour the boiling water over the cloves. If using cinnamon or ginger, add them now to steep together.
3. Steep with Intention:
Cover the mug and let the mixture steep for 10–15 minutes. The water will turn a warm amber color and release a spicy, aromatic scent. This step allows the eugenol and other beneficial compounds to infuse fully.
4. Strain and Enhance:
Strain the infusion to remove solids. Stir in lemon juice and honey or jaggery if desired. These additions enhance flavor and add their own wellness benefits—lemon for alkalizing and honey for soothing.
5. Serve and Sip:
Drink warm, preferably on an empty stomach in the morning or 30 minutes after meals. This helps stimulate digestion, reduce bloating, and support metabolic balance.
