Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
3. In another bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients.
6. Fold in chocolate chips.
7. Scoop dough into balls and place on baking sheet, spacing apart.
8. Bake 10–12 minutes, until edges are golden but centers are soft.
9. Cool slightly, then enjoy warm or let cool completely.
