Make the filling: Mix butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla, and a pinch of salt until creamy. Stir in ½ cup chocolate chips.

Prep pastry: Roll out puff pastry and spread the cookie dough mixture evenly on top.

Cut & twist: Slice into strips, twist each strip, and place on a lined baking sheet.
