Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Butter a glass baking dish (about 20×20 cm).
- Spread the cherries evenly in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs + sugar until pale.
- Add milk, vanilla, melted butter, and salt.
- Whisk in flour until smooth (no lumps).
- Pour batter gently over the cherries.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, until set and lightly golden on top.
- Cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar if desired.

- Serve warm or chilled
- Delicious with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream
- Even better the next day after chilling
