Steps
Follow these simple steps to make Cheeseburger Hot Pockets:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
3. Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet with the ground beef. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
4. Stir in the salt, black pepper, paprika, dried oregano, dried basil, dried thyme, onion powder, and garlic powder. Mix well to combine.
5. Remove the skillet from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
6. Unroll the refrigerated pie crusts and cut them into squares or rectangles, depending on how big you want your hot pockets to be.
7. Spoon a generous amount of the ground beef mixture onto one half of each pie crust square.
8. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the ground beef mixture.
9. Fold the other half of each pie crust square over the filling and press the edges together to seal.
10. Place the assembled hot pockets onto the prepared baking sheet.
11. Brush the tops of the hot pockets with the beaten egg to give them a golden brown crust.
12. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the hot pockets are golden brown and heated through.
