Instructions:
1. Prepare the cauliflower:
Cut the cauliflower into florets and blanch in lightly salted water for about 5–7 minutes until slightly softened but still firm to the bite. Drain and set aside.
2. Cook the ground meat:
In a large skillet, heat the oil. Sauté the onion and garlic until translucent. Add the ground meat and cook until browned and crumbly. Season with paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
3. Add bell pepper and tomatoes:
Stir in the diced bell pepper and canned tomatoes. Mix well and let it simmer for a few minutes until the pepper softens and the sauce thickens slightly.
4. Add cauliflower:
Gently fold the blanched cauliflower into the meat mixture. Let it all cook together for about 5 more minutes to combine the flavors.
5. Optional – Bake with cheese:
If desired, transfer everything to a baking dish, sprinkle with grated cheese, and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 10–15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
6. Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley or chives if desired. Serve hot.
💡 Tip:
You can swap in other veggies like zucchini or mushrooms for extra flavor and variety.
This cauliflower and ground meat dish is simple, satisfying, and perfect for a quick and flavorful dinner!
