Buttery Brown Sugar Cinnamon Cookies

Directions:

 

 

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
5. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until fully combined.
6. Optional: Roll dough balls in coarse sugar for a sparkling finish.
7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden but centers remain soft.
9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Tips:
