Butter Swim Biscuits

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  3. Cut in the unsalted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add buttermilk and stir until just combined.
  5. Melt butter in a baking dish in the preheated oven until sizzling.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit dough into the hot melted butter.
  7. Bake for about 15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
  8. Optional: Drizzle honey over the baked biscuits before serving.
