Butter Pecan Cake

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven and prepare cake pans by greasing and flouring them.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, milk, chopped pecans, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  3. Pour the batter into the cake pans and smooth the tops.
  4. Bake in the oven until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  5. Cool the cakes in the pans before transferring to a wire rack.
  6. Frost the cake with butter pecan frosting if desired.
  7. Slice and serve the delicious butter pecan cake.
