Instructions:
Pudding
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
 - Blend milk, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.
 - Layer sliced bread in baking dish. Pour half the milk mixture over bread, let soak.
 - Pour remaining milk mixture over bread, pressing down gently.
 - Bake for 35-40 minutes or until set and golden brown. Let cool slightly.
 
Caramel Sauce
- Melt sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat until light amber.
 - Carefully add water, stirring constantly.
 - Simmer until desired consistency. Let cool slightly.
 
Serving
- Pierce top of pudding with a fork.
 - Pour caramel sauce over pudding.
 - Let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm or cold with whipped cream or ice cream (optional).
