Baked Caesar Chicken with Creamy Parmesan Sauce

Directions:


Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking dish with a little olive oil or cooking spray.
Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Rub them with olive oil, then season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika on both sides.
Bake the Chicken: Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Make the Creamy Parmesan Sauce: While the chicken is baking, in a saucepan over medium heat, combine the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and dried thyme or Italian seasoning. Stir continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Combine and Serve: Once the chicken is done, remove it from the oven and pour the creamy Parmesan sauce over the top. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to warm the sauce.
