How to Make It
Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add finely chopped apples, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until apples are tender and begin to caramelize. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
Separate biscuit dough into individual rounds. Flatten each round gently using your fingers or the back of a spoon.
Spoon approximately 1 tablespoon of apple filling into the center of each dough round. Place 1 caramel candy on top of the filling.
Carefully gather the dough around the filling and caramel, pinching the edges firmly to seal and form a ball.
Position the filled dough balls seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.
Brush the tops of each dough ball with the melted butter.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until the tops are golden brown and dough is fully cooked.
Optional: Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with crushed peanuts if desired. Serve warm.
