Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Chicken

How to Make Bacon Wrapped Chicken in the Air Fryer

Step 1
Preheat the Air Fryer to 400 degrees F. Prepare the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray or olive oil spray.

Step 2
Add the seasonings to a small bowl and set it aside.

Step 3
Take the clean and dry chicken breasts and rub both sides evenly with the seasoning rub.

Step 4
Wrap each chicken breast with 2 pieces of bacon, trying to keep the ends of the bacon underneath the chicken breast.

Step 5
Place the bacon-wrapped chicken breasts in a single layer into the bottom of the prepared air fryer basket.

Step 6
Air Fry the chicken at 400 degrees Fahrenheit/200 degrees Celcius for 15 minutes, then turn down the temperature to 370 degrees F for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the internal temperature has reached 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

Serve immediately with your favorite sides.

NOTE: All air fryers can cook differently and at different powers. It’s always a good idea to test out the recipe beforehand to check if you need to add more or less time to the recipe.

Tips

Use Thin Bacon Strips: Thin slices of bacon work best for wrapping around chicken pieces because they cook more evenly in the air fryer and crisp up nicely without overcooking the chicken.

Secure with Toothpicks: To prevent the bacon from unraveling during cooking, secure the ends of the bacon strips with toothpicks. Just make sure to remove them before serving.
