Instructions:

Prep the ingredients: - 
Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly. 
- 
Cut the onion into half-rings. 
- 
Chop the mushrooms into small cubes, then mix them with the ground pork. Season with salt and pepper.

Make the sauce: - 
In a bowl, mix the sour cream with crushed garlic (through a garlic press), raw egg, salt, and pepper. Stir well.

Assemble the casserole: - 
Grease a baking dish with oil. 
- 
Layer half of the potatoes on the bottom. Season with salt and pepper. 
- 
Add a layer of onion on top of the potatoes. 
- 
Spread the ground meat and mushroom mixture over the onions. 
- 
Sprinkle with grated cheese. 
- 
Add the remaining potatoes on top, season again. 
- 
Pour the prepared sour cream sauce evenly over the top.

Bake: - 
Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 180–200°C (350–390°F) for 40–60 minutes.

About 5 minutes before it’s done, sprinkle more grated cheese on top for a golden crust.
