Cheese and Ground Chicken Casserole with Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 500 g (1 lb) ground chicken

  • 500 g (1 lb) potatoes

  • 150 g (5 oz) grated cheese (Emmental, Comté, or Cheddar)

  • 1 medium onion

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 30 g (2 tablespoons) butter

  • 100 ml (⅓ cup + 1 tsp) heavy cream

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

  • A pinch of nutmeg (optional)
