Meatball Pasta Bake

Ingredients

For the meatballs:

  • 400 g ground meat (beef or poultry)

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs

  • 1 garlic clove (minced)

  • 1 tsp paprika powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the bake:

  • 300 g pasta (e.g. penne or fusilli)

  • 500 ml tomato passata

  • 1 onion (chopped)

  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)

  • 1 tsp oregano

  • 100 ml cream

  • 150 g grated cheese (e.g. Gouda or mozzarella)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste
