Applesauce Cake A moist, flavorful cake that’s quick to make and perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients for a 26 cm (10-inch) springform pan:

  • 300 g applesauce (homemade or store-bought)

  • 200 g sugar

  • 1 packet vanilla sugar (or 1 tsp vanilla extract)

  • 4 eggs

  • 200 g flour

  • 1 packet baking powder (about 2½ tsp)

  • 100 ml sunflower oil (or other neutral oil)

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 100 g ground nuts (optional – for a nutty touch)

  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
