I’ve been making these for three days in a row — these “Miracle” dough pies have won everyone over! Tender, fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth… One disappears after another!

Cheese-Filled “Miracle” Pies with Curd Dough

These pies aren’t just delicious — they’re incredibly versatile. You can make both sweet and savory versions from the same dough. The filling is up to you, and on the outside — a soft, pliable, layered crust that, once baked, takes on a delicate aroma, golden color, and a lovely texture. This dough pairs especially well with apples, resulting in a bright, expressive flavor and a texture that leaves no one indifferent.

For the dough:

  • Cheese – 120 g

  • Butter – 150 g

  • A pinch of salt

  • All-purpose flour – 260 g

  • Ice-cold water – 5 tbsp

For the filling:

  • Apples – to taste

  • Sugar

  • A bit of lemon juice
