Old Silesian Pudding Buttercream Cake

Ingredients


For the light batter:

  • 4 eggs

  • 200 g sugar

  • 150 g flour

  • 1 packet vanilla pudding powder

  • 1 tsp baking powder

For the dark batter:

  • 4 eggs

  • 200 g sugar

  • 150 g flour

  • 1 packet chocolate pudding powder

  • 50 ml warm water

  • 1 tsp baking powder

For the cream:

  • 1 liter milk

  • 1 packet vanilla pudding powder

  • 1 packet chocolate pudding powder

  • 250 g sugar

  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 500 g butter

  • 2 tbsp jam (lingonberry or other red fruit)

  • Optional: flavoring (arak, vanilla, or other)

For decoration:

  • Optional: chocolate sprinkles

  • Optional: shredded coconut

  • Optional: sliced almonds
