Instructions
-
Prepare the wafers
Finely crush the vanilla wafers in a food processor, or place them in a freezer bag and crush with a rolling pin until they reach a sandy texture. -
Melt the chocolate
Carefully melt the white chocolate in a double boiler or microwave. Stir regularly to prevent burning and ensure a smooth consistency. -
Make the mixture
Add the melted chocolate to the crushed wafers and mix thoroughly until you have a uniform dough. -
Shape the balls
Using your hands, form small balls from the mixture. If the dough is too sticky, lightly moisten your hands with water. -
Coat in coconut
Roll the formed balls in shredded coconut until they are completely covered. -
Chill and enjoy
Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them firm up in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Then serve and enjoy!
Result:
Incredibly creamy, delicate, and coconutty – these Raffaello balls are a dream for anyone with a sweet tooth and rival the original. Whether for guests, as a gift, or just for yourself – they’re always a treat!
