1 Liter of Milk, 1 Yogurt, and Half a Lemon Are All You Need to Make the Best Homemade Cheese

Instructions:

  1. Pour the milk into a small pot and bring it to a boil.

  2. Let it boil for 15 minutes, then add the lemon juice and yogurt.

  3. Stir the mixture slowly for a few seconds, turn off the heat, and let it rest for at least 3 hours.

  4. After this time, line a sieve (placed over a mold or bowl) with the cotton cloth.

  5. Pour the mixture into the cloth-lined sieve to separate the cheese from the whey.

  6. Place the strained mixture back in the fridge and let it rest for 30 minutes.

  7. After that, add a little salt and let it rest in the fridge for another 8 hours.

  8. At this point, your delicious homemade cheese is ready to enjoy!
